1. Subscription Tiers
🆓 Free Tier — $0/month
Access to free content, limited articles, newsletter previews. No credit card required.
🔥 Vulgar Tier
Everything in Free, plus: full content library, unlimited archives, full newsletters, community posting, early access, product discounts, ad-free experience. Age: 13+.
💀 Unhinged Tier
Everything in Vulgar, plus: unfiltered explicit content, exclusive series, priority access, maximum discounts, subscriber-only bonus material. Age requirement: 18+. By subscribing to the Unhinged tier, you certify that you are at least 18 years old. We rely on self-certification presented during account creation and again at the point of upgrade or access for age-restricted content.
2. Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly (or annually where available), beginning on the date you subscribe. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
Prices are in USD. Stated prices may be exclusive of VAT or sales tax. Stripe collects applicable taxes where required by law. If payment fails, we will retry your payment method up to 3 times over 7 days. You will receive an email notification after each failed attempt. After 3 failed retries, your subscription will be downgraded to the Free tier.
3. Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before renewal date. We'll send an email reminder at least 7 days before annual renewals. You'll be charged the then-current rate unless protected by Early Adopter Price Lock.
4. Cancellation
Cancel anytime, one click, from account settings. No cancellation fees. No penalties. No guilt trip.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then. You will not be charged again.
EU subscribers: You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of initial subscription. To exercise this right, contact info@roaststation.com within 14 days of your first payment. We will process your refund promptly in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law.
5. Refund Policy
- Monthly: No refunds for the current period. Cancel to stop future charges.
- Annual: Prorated refunds for unused months within 30 days of annual renewal. Email info@roaststation.com.
6. Early Adopter Price Lock
Subscribe during our founding period and your price is locked in forever as long as your subscription remains active and uninterrupted. Cancel and re-subscribe and current pricing applies. Upgrades are at current pricing. If we discontinue your tier, we will migrate you to the most comparable tier at your locked price or lower.
7. Tier Changes
Upgrades: Immediate effect, prorated charge for the difference.
Downgrades: Take effect at the end of the current billing period.
8. After Cancellation
Your account and history remain intact. You're moved to the Free tier, not deleted. Re-subscribe anytime to restore paid access. Your personal data following cancellation is handled per our Privacy Policy.
9. Account Sharing
Subscriptions are for individual use only. Shared accounts may be suspended.
10. Dispute Resolution
All disputes regarding subscriptions are governed by our Terms of Service, including the binding arbitration clause.
11. Changes
We may update pricing or terms with 14 days' advance email notice. Early adopter price locks are honored regardless.
